Iacobus Giunta
Biographical Text
Jacopo was the nephew of the Venetian Printer Luca-Antonio Giunta. He went to Lyon, where he founded the family business in 1519 or 1520 (active until ca. 1546). Collaborated with Francisco Giunta, his brother. After his death, his two daughters Jeanne and Jaqueline succeeded him and operated the press from 1547-1571.
