Biographical Text
From Ostheim (Franconia); first letter painter and form cutter, bought a house in Augsburg in 1579. Was also a printer for the publishing company "Ad insigne pinus." Established his own press under the name "Apud Ioannem Praetorem" which is used later by his son, Hans Schulte II.
